Michail Antonio - How good is he?

Ever since he scored two goals at Wembley in 2010 for Southampton, I have followed his career with great anticipation.
Now he is out injured, West Ham fans can't wait for this extraordinary goal machine to return and show the Premier League how it's done.
We don't even have an icon for this hero of ours.

He isnt a good footballer, hasnt got great technique, isnt an outstanding finisher and bit of a ropey first touch
But as a battering ram pacy CF he is sublime, i really like him and glad he is getting his goals

He speaks very well on this podcast about how he is as a player.
He's a throwback of sorts, doesn't have the finesse of an academy raised player that we are used to seeing so much of nowadays.
He speaks well about Moyes too.

When he was on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, they went on a massive winning streak in League One and got promoted. I went to about 7 of those games with my brother-in-law who is a 'Wednesdayite' and Antonio was incredible for them. I said to him 'I hope he joins West Ham one day'...

He’s never been as important to the side as much as he is now at any point in his west ham career. Mixture of him finding some top form and how dog shit our recruitment is.

Yes I remember now. He was on loan from Reading and Pardew wanted to sign him on permanently but I think he got the sack at the time and Antonio found another club.
